Douglas Park in Long Beach, CA Closes Sales and Leases Totaling 39,000 SF

(LONG BEACH, CA)  -- Newcastle Partners, Inc. of  San Francisco and RREEF Alternative Investments, have completed two building sales and two lease transactions totaling about 39,000 square feet of space at the 54.5-acre Douglas Park in Long Beach, CA.

Leasing terms and sales prices were not disclosed.

Felahy & Associates, a trial law firm serving both Los Angeles and Orange counties, purchased 4000 Cover Street, an 8,875-square-foot low-rise office building. Luke Raimondo of Travers Realty represented the tenant.
 
Living Opportunities Management Co., a residential management company, purchased 3787 Worsham Avenue, a 7,622-square-foot low-rise office building. David Coe, along with Jeff Tabor, of Corporate Realty Advisors represented the tenant.

Overland, Pacific & Cutler, Inc. a firm providing professional services for clients with projects involving land and right of way acquisition, relocation assistance, project planning and management, completed a 10-year lease for 12,593 square feet of space at 3750 Schaufele Avenue. The low-rise office building totals 35,007 square feet. Jeff Tabor of Corporate Realty Advisors represented the tenant.

Interface Security Systems Holdings, Inc., through its subsidiaries, provides electronic-security services. The firm completed a 5.5-year lease for 9,240 square feet of space at 3750 Schaufele Avenue. The low-rise office building totals 35,007 square feet. John Collins of Lee & Associates represented the tenant.

Douglas Park, the former Boeing aircraft manufacturing site, is being developed as a 261-acre master-planned business community located on Lakewood Boulevard immediately adjacent to Long Beach Airport.

Another milestone announced by Newcastle Partners and RREEF is completion of construction for the office portion of phase I of Douglas Park. The office portion totals 168,000 square feet and includes nine buildings ranging in size from 12,000 square feet to 40,000 square feet that are available for sale or lease.
