(ORLANDO, FL) - Les Simmonds, of  L.G. Simmonds Real Estate Corp., the newly inducted 2008-2009 president of the 10,000-member Orlando Regional REALTOR® Association (ORRA), announced the appointment of two directors for one-year terms. The newly appointed ORRA directors are Steve Amburgey of Realty Executives Central Florida and Kathryn Llamas of Keller Williams at the Parks.

(SAN FRANCISCO, CA) - Wells Fargo Chairman Dick Kovacevich, recently announced that Wachovia and Wells Fargo have a firm, binding merger agreement, and is confident the merger will be completed by year-end. The merger is expected to keep Wachovia intact and create significant value for Wachovia and Wells Fargo shareholders. The pending merger will create a coast-to-coast community banking presence in 39 states and the District of Columbia.

(SANTO DOMINGO, D.O.) - Las Arenas, a 25-story residential tower on the shores of Juan Dolio Beach in the Dominican Republic celebrated its project launch and is scheduled to break ground in the first quarter of 2009.
